At Liberty Business, we are committed to keeping you connected. If the power was restored in your area but your Liberty Business service is still down, these may be some of the issues that could be affecting it.- It could be that a power surge tripped a breaker in the signal distributor that services your business when the power was restored.
- A fuse in our equipment may have blown due to power surges when the power was restored. These voltage fluctuations can also affect other equipment required to distribute the signal in your area.
- There may have been damage to a cable in our distribution network that provides signal to your business.
- In some cases, the signal distributor that services your business may be located in an area that currently doesn’t have power.
Our technical personnel are currently evaluating the areas and assessing the work required to reconnect all our customers safely. It could happen that our equipment is located in a different site from the source that supplies power to your business. In these cases, your internet, cable, and/or TV service could be affected, even if you have power in your business. Your services should work as long as the equipment providing service to your business is powered on.
In most cases, our clients can start using their Liberty Business services as soon as they get their power restored. If this is not your case, please follow the steps below:
- Unplug the Liberty Business equipment (modem and converter boxes) from the electrical outlet.
- Wait approximately three minutes and plug all the equipment back in.
- Make sure they’re connected to Wi-Fi.
- If you keep having problems with your service after following these steps, call our customer service department at 787-355-0606 to schedule an appointment with a technician.
